Science FairProjects-2026
The Science Fair Project Demonstration is a school-wide tournament that encourages young learners (Class I — X) to explore scientific ideas, design experiments, and present their findings. Students work individually or in teams to research, test, and demonstrate a hands-on project. The event emphasizes scientific method, creativity, communication, and real-world problem solving.
Objectives:
- Inspire curiosity and a love for science.
- Teach students how to apply the scientific method: ask, investigate, observe, record, and conclude.
- Develop presentation, teamwork and critical-thinking skills.
- Provide a platform to showcase original experiments and practical investigations.
- Encourage safe, ethical, and responsible science practices.
Who can participate:
- Open to all students from Class I to Class X.
- Students may participate individually or in teams of up to 3 (check your school’s specific rules).
- Projects are grouped by class/grade bands for fair judging (see Categories).
Categories & grade bands (example):
- Primary (Class I – III) — simple observations and models.
- Lower Primary (Class IV – V) — basic experiments, demonstrations.
- Middle (Class VI – VII) — hypothesis-driven experiments, models.
- Upper (Class VIII – X) — advanced experiments, engineering prototypes, data analysis.
Project types (examples):
- Hands-on experiments (chemistry, physics, biology).
- Lower Primary (Class IV – V) — basic experiments, demonstrations.
- Middle (Class VI – VII) — hypothesis-driven experiments, models.
- Upper (Class VIII – X) — advanced experiments, engineering prototypes, data analysis.
